The Coordinator should possess at least a Master’s degree, but preferably a PhD in public health, parasitology or epidemiology and have proven research experience in malaria with considerable computer skills and experience. The Coordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day activities of the Secretariat.

The MIM Secretariat Coordinator will in particular be responsible for:

  • Convening meetings of the Board and the Strategic Advisory Committee including, preparing essential documents and taking and keeping minutes

  • Implementing decisions of the Strategic Advisory Committee and the MIM Alliance Partners’ Board

  • Organizing conference calls with the Strategic Advisory Committee and the MIM Alliance Partners’ Board

  • Preparation of funding proposals

  • Overseeing MIM Secretariat publications and dissemination of information

  • Running and maintaining the MIM News & Opportunities mailing list

  • Promoting networking among MIM stakeholders.

Bilingual ability with fluency in both French and English is preferred.
